About
Rapha Health and Recovery

Founder and Owner Tammy Paullin, ARNP., has over 17 years of nursing experience since graduating from Jacksonville University.
Her nursing journey involves an extensive background in emergency nursing with a few years in home health and the PACU unit. When she was a member of the Emergency Nurses Association, she was the Co-Chair for the Government Affairs Committee and a Delegate for the state. This allowed her to travel from the state capital to Washington, D.C., advocating and using her voice to influence legislative and regulatory issues affecting emergency nursing across the country. In 2004 Tammy was recognized by Governor Jeb Bush in her assistance at one of the hospitals in the panhandle after the devastating effects of Hurricane Ivan.
After obtaining her Master’s degree in 2017 she moved to Ocala, FL where she was employed as a vascular/general surgical nurse practitioner. Frustrated with the constant, drastic changes in healthcare she set out to break away from allopathic medicine and focus on a more holistic, naturopathic, integrative approach to help people manage their health.
Grounded and rooted in her faith, she incorporates the biblical view of “In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth, and “of every herb bearing seed” into her practice – knowing that what has been created has the ability to transform lives and bring restoration, wholeness and rejuvenation to each and every individual. And so Rapha Health and Wellness Center was born.
